2 x 2 marks: Simeon took the child in his arms and praised God, saying he had now seen God's salvation; he prophesied that the child would cause the rising and falling of many and be a light to the Gentiles, and told Mary a sword would pierce her soul. Anna, a prophetess, gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

Award 1 mark for the point and 1 mark for the explanation.
