Marking scheme
He has misunderstood tawakkul (1). Tawakkul requires taking the lawful means first, then relying on Allah (1). The Prophet (SAW) sought and encouraged treatment (e.g. 'seek treatment, for Allah made a cure') (1). Therefore he should take medicine and go to hospital while trusting Allah for the cure; refusing means is not true tawakkul (1).
