Lake Nakuru is one of the most beautiful places in Kenya. It is found in Nakuru County in the Rift Valley region. The lake is famous for the thousands of flamingos that come to feed on the tiny plants that grow in its waters. When the flamingos gather at the lake, they make it look pink from a distance.

Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds the lake. Visitors can see many animals in the park including rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes and baboons. The park also has many different types of trees where birds build their nests.

Many tourists from Kenya and other countries visit Lake Nakuru every year. The money they pay helps to take care of the park and protect the animals that live there.
