1. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or have verifiable consent from a parent/guardian) to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login and all activity under your account.
2. Free Trial, Subscriptions & Payments
We may offer a time-limited free trial. After the trial, continued use may require a paid subscription. Prices, features, and tiers may change with prior notice. Taxes may apply.
Refunds: Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. If billing issues occur, contact support@papersetter.co.ke.
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
- Do not hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Services.
- Do not misuse exam content to violate school/exam rules.
4. User Content & License
You retain rights to content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display such content solely to operate and improve the Services.
5. Intellectual Property
All software, features, logos, and site content are owned by PaperSetter or its licensors and protected by law. You may not copy or resell any part of the Services without permission.
6. Privacy
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted access, or specific results. Use at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaperSetter and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless PaperSetter from claims arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for any breach or risk to the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
